This is the important option of MS Excel. By is helpful to enter the records in very long sheet by keeping their headers in front.
Place the cell under the header from where you want to start freezing the cells.
-Window - Freeze Pane.
To unfreeze the pane click on the Unfreeze option from the window menu.
